Norelle Calder_MacPhee

Norelle is a research assistant who joined the unit in 2022. Her main research interests are related to weight, stigma, and the links between physical and mental health. She is currently working on the Supporting Mums trial, and the Game of Stones study, both are NIHR funded trials investigating weight loss interventions.

Norelle gained her MSc in Health Psychology from the University of Stirling and is in the final stages of completing her Stage 2 Health Psychology training, due for completion in 2023.

Norelle has always been keenly interested in health and prior to working in research has worked in community food, and active travel within the Forth Valley, both in NHS and third sector settings.
